I was wondering how long ahead can you make seafood chowder a day or the morning of?? I am wanting to serve it for Wednesday evening so how far ahead should I be making it???

crockpot seafood chowder

I cooked this chowder in my crockpot, however my milk separated!

The milk was good, it was 2 percent. My crockpot settings are for 4-8 hugh and 6-10 low.

The recipe cooks for 5 on low so i set it to 8 low.

I would like to try it again, please help!!
