Haddock

by Leah
(Maine)

I want to make a haddock chowder. I never have before.

I don't have any smoked haddock though.

Is ok to make it with regular haddock?

What will the difference be?

You don't need to use smoked haddock if you don't want to.

The result will be a slightly less salty flavor.

You can either live with that, because that's the way you like it, or add a little extra salt to taste.

Enjoy your haddock chowder.
