Fish and Chips Reheating

Hello

I bought an extra portion of fish and chips and wonder if it's possible to freeze them.

I always microwave my fish and chips as they're cold by the time I get home.

The question is - if I freeze them, do I then defrost them and microwave them or cook from frozen in the oven?

Do you think they'll suffer from freezer burn?

Freezing Fish and Chips
by: Liz

Hi

I'm sorry that you can't get your fish and chips piping hot and crispy straight away.

If you're happy with microwaving, then I would defrost them thoroughly and do whatever it is you do to 'nuke' them.

They won't suffer from freezer burn if you only keep them a couple or weeks or so - freezer burn tends to happen when you keep things a long time.

I hope that helps
